This 1928 Craftsman style home was
purchased by the present owner in
2000. Jennifer McClain found her
property have being very particular
about safety and a great location. She
looked at three homes before deciding
on “my little fixer upper”. “It has been
a lot of work, but very rewarding and
my neighbors are more like friends.
This is a very special place”.
“My house is very eclectic. As an
artist I’ve acquired local artist works as
well as my own to decorate the walls.
The stainless living room furniture was
made by Greg Karkowski and Jeremy
Grosnik. My studio is also in the
house on the ground floor. While
touring Jennifer’s home you will find
more of her collection in the dining
room that has been converted into her
library. Along with her collection you
can view Jennifer’s many art books.
Jennifer has landscaped the entire yard
adding English gardens, a pond, a new
deck with hot tub, and replaced the
kitchen. You will enter the home
through the front door standing on
Colorado stone tile in the entry and
the living room. You will go upstairs
and view the three bedrooms and full
bath. Two of the bedrooms are being
utilized as a television room and her
office.
The living room’s stainless furniture is
a must see. The stainless material is
carried over to the kitchen by artist
Jeremy Grosnik. This was the first
renovation of the homeowners. The
kitchen counters and floors are all
stainless steel. The sunroom showcases
Jennifer’s love of plants. The fountains
make this area a special meditation
area.
When you exit the home be sure to
enjoy the beautiful gardens that surround
Jennifer’s property. |
