This home was constructed in 1925 by
the Blum family. Mr. Blum was a
prominent civil engineer and helped
layout Marshall Fields, which encompasses
Marshall Road, Mt. Alister,
Norwood Avenue, and Glenridge Way.
The house was sold for the first time
in 1957 shortly after the passing of Mr.
and Mrs. Blum.
Vince Graziani purchased the home in
the fall of 1987 at that time the home
was in need of a total renovation. For
the next seven months, Vince replaced
everything. He replaced the roof, windows,
plumbing and electrical. The
latest renovations were to the dining
room last year. Vince had a fireplace
installed with a mantle and he built
and installed the bookcases. The
kitchen has had a facelift in the last
year new paint and stainless steel
appliances.
As you tour the home, you will see
new oak woodwork throughout the
home. At the time of the initial rehab,
all of the stair railings were replaced.
Enjoy all three floors of this home and
the beautiful views of the Park. |
