Steve, Kerry and Patrick Connell represent
another intriguing, beautiful
home on the tour. Located at 7
Marshall Road, their home ties back to
the Click’s home on 151 Oak Park
Road – Kerry’s parents. Purchased in
late 2004, their home is a great example
of the character of the homes found in
Observatory Hill.
Beautiful parquet
floors in the living and dining quarters,
stained glass, unique fireplaces, and
pocket doors draw you in and through
the home, leading you to the many art
pieces and collections Steve and Kerry
own, including a typewriter collection,
maps from Kerry’s hometown of
Annville, and pieces by Jeeto and
Elvgren.
One of the most important
facets of the home to Steve and Kerry,
with little surprise, is the wonderful
wrap around porch and beautiful
views of Riverview Park. Many points
in the home provide a park view, but
the front porch is one special to the
Connell’s and a feature they love to
take advantage of, especially in warm
weather.
Furnishing the
home with a blend of family pieces,
estate sale finds, and other sources, the
Connell’s home at 7 Marshall Road is
another picture of what Observatory
Hill’s neighborhood provides – terrific
homes, park views, front porches
enjoyed by owners that welcome
guests, all rolled inside a wonderful
hamlet called Acorn Hill. |
